Imagine that, a book that in today's world shows parents with a backbone and who love their kids enough to say "no"!! All this with Richard Scarry's wonderful illustrations. We bought extra copies to give to friends with young ones. Our boys love it as we read it to them. A wonderful way to reinforce the long-forgotten idea of "responsibility" in our children.

Pig Will and Pig Won't: A Book of Manners (A Knee-High Book) Review

(More customer reviews)This is a good book for children of all ages. I bought this book sixteen or seventeen years ago and really enjoyed reading it to my son as well as my friends and family. It is about being positive and cooperative, the very premise of good manners. The characters are funny and the lessons valuable. The point of the lessons make perfect sense and once learned by a child, carry him or her through life with a smile. Grumpy, negative adults need to read this more than children.
