The Little Miss Review

This was just over the top for me and very upsetting. I kept looking for a happy ending and it's just not there. I generally get a kick out of spanking stories as long as it's sane and consentual. These are truly kinky men that marry unprotected young ladies and made them their little girls only to be disciplined harshly by a kinkier nannies during the day. I've read some of C. Faulkner's other stuff and was satisfied, which is why I bought this one. I'll certainly be more careful to read the warnings on her future books. This was a waste of my money.

If you are into hard core pain, humiliation, etc. this book is for you. It pretty much left me cold. All this book basically talked about was what Master wanted and what he wanted was to inflict pain even though she apparently loved it. To me the development of a connection between the two main characters was non-existant. Personally, don't waste your money on this book.

aina Boardman had it all - money, success, power, and all the trappings therein. She was the head of a company she'd created from the ashes of trying childhood, and she should have had everything she ever wanted. But everyone has some desires can never be spoken aloud, and she had never confronted her own head on: she wanted to submit to a man, someone who would take her in hand and make her want to surrender herself to him. It was almost as if she had too much control - was too demanding - in her daily life. She needed someone strong enough to meet her toe to toe and back her down unhesitatingly - in business and in their bedroom . . . He arrived in her boardroom one day - a filthy rich, disgustingly handsome billionaire playboy who could buy and sell her in a heartbeat - and conquered and controlled it perfectly. She knew she was lost. She only hoped he couldn't see quite how much she wished he would focus all that power and dominance on her.In the end, she betrayed herself to him, and entered a life she'd only dreamt of, fantasized about feverishly, alone in the night. He was every bit as strict a disciplinarian as she could have wanted - more so, she thought sometimes - and never hesitated to lay down the law across her cringing bottom and thighs in the most severe of manners. But those weren-t the only tools in the arsenal he used to keep her in line. He'd said he was going to push her limits, and he was nothing if not a man of his word. And she was His, to do with as he pleased.

Too short and shallow. He buys the woman, takes her to his cabin, has his way with her, the end. Disappointing.

"On the first day that he did leave her loose in the house, with orders and supplies to have made dinner by the time he got home, Carolyn did what she felt she had to do. She had to make some sort of effort to escape. She couldn't just accept what had happened to her. All she wanted was to get away from him - she hadn't thought much further than that. She didn't even know what direction to travel in, but figured that Shepherdstown was roughly due East of where she was.She hoped."

Bound by Love: A Carolyn Faulkner Trilogy Review

Bound by Love: A Carolyn Faulkner Trilogy

I really enjoyed these short stories purely from an erotica point of view and not from any type of a plot. I really enjoyed "Angel of Sudden Hill" and "Sold!" Both of these short stories got right to the point (sex and spanking) and both of them had character's that had feelings for each other in the end. "Centurion," however, I was not a fan of at all. The male character in the first part of the story was brutal and cruel, yet I still felt as if he had some type of feeling for the heroine and she to him...I guess I was wrong about that because near the end a total change came and the heroine ended up with another man! Bah.

Tria Review

Not for the faint of heart. Severe, humiliating, sadistic and non-consensual futuristic (post-plague) society where women are bought and sold as nothing more than sexual objects is where we are introduced to Tria and her owner Thomas. Tria is the second story written by Carolyn Faulkner along this same story line. This story includes caning, spanking, bondage and also some enema play. The first story in this series is Prima and IMO is better written and has better editing. Both stories are very brutal so buyer beware.

Revisit the world that Carolyn Faulkner brought to life in her erotic BDSM classic, Prima. Tria is a young, virginal, untouched girl when she is sold to Thomas. He opens her eyes as he opens her body to anything and everything.Life in the post-plague society is harsh, and punishments are severe. Tria is an extremely severe, non consensual story, featuring spanking, caning, anal punishments, and bondage elements.Prima, another story set in this same world, is offered below. It was originally sold on Bethany's Woodshed. Tria, however, is brand new and exclusive to Punishment Spanking and has never been sold on any other site.

Talus: A Demon Story Review

Talus: A Demon Story

This work is erotica in every definition. Brutally efficient descriptions of bodily sensations and personalities within the story is well trademarked here...
However, that is certainly not the entire focus of this book. Unlike the mercilessly dirty and frivolous trash-heaps like "Crimson Succubus", Talus: a Demon Story is also a bizarre phantasmagorical psychological romance of powerful effect. Though the author doesn't take flight with the story for a few thousand more pages, the character elements of this story are well developed.
A word of caution: the sezual encounters in this book can be easily labeled as "kinky" and "vile", though I think it enjoyable even with such scenes. Long story short, only approach this story if you are either horny or would like to read an excellent example of hardcore erotica.Enjoy, any who dare...

Grace the house sitter is in for a very interesting surprise. The supposedly empty house is far from it. And what occupies the house is not your every day mouse, either.Talus first comes to Grace in a dream, granted the most erotic dream of her life, but a dream nevertheless. And then some very strange things start to happen, and the dreams become more and more vivid. Finally, Grace realizes that demon or not, Talus is real. Talus has some very interesting sexual tastes. He`s not only a demon lover - he`s a dominant demon lover, very much so. The edge between pain and pleasure is a thin one, Grace learns - and much much more. This is an extremely hot, sexually expicit story, with BDSM themes, some quite severe.

Kept Review

I stumbled across this novel, and thought that it had an interesting theme to it. I am a fairly open-minded person and enjoy a lot of different genres.
At first, the plot was really intriguing. Definitely not you your usual boy meets girl. But the more I read, the less I like the book. Reed is a dominating man, with a serious spanking fetish, and I found his character to be decently developed, but Trish fell short. It felt like she vacated the book about 2/3 of the way through. and honestly, I feel like she was a little bit abused by the end, and treated like she didn't have a mind of her own. Yes, she is submissive, but that doesn't make her a child. The author needed to give her more personality and research what it is to be a submissive. She doesn't understand that the submissive is the one in control, not the dominant.

Who said being a dominant Sugar Daddy was going to be easy?Self-made millionaire Reed Douglas wanted a woman in his life, but he didn't have the time for even the barest of social rituals. Tricia Barton flew down to spend some time with her cousins after the death of her mother, hoping a change of scenery would help her slough off the remnants of depression. She never expected to have her life turned upside down by her cousin's undeniably hot and very dominant boss who didn't hesitate to suggest that she let him keep her in a style to which she definitely didn't want to become accustomed. But one of the few things left out of their very special arrangement was that she ended up finding herself over his lap more often than not!

A well-written and thought provoking story about a strong, but sometimes sadistic man and the slave he buys. Both of the lead characters, Joseph and Prima, are extremely likable. Their relationship develops well throughout this story.
More hard-core than other erotica books that I have read, so if this isn't your thing, read something else.
I found myself thinking about this book long after I read it. This is the first book that I have read by this author, but will not be the last.

A plague has devastated the world's society and the government that's left realizes the necessity of rebuilding the population. The few women who survive are enslaved - sold and traded and bred. Owned by their male relatives, they are punished severely for any misdeed - real or perceived.Prima is such a woman - bought and paid for by Joseph, a man who intends to get full use of her, in every conceivable way.Prima is, technically, a post-nuclear (post-plague) genre story that contains extremely harsh, non-consensual scenes of BDSM, anal, and the occasional touch of ageplay. This was originally offered on Bethany's Woodshed, and is also for sale on Best of Bethany's.

The Miscreant and The Master Review

The Miscreant and The Master

When attempting to write this review I went back to read the editorial review and actually was surprised to read that Ayko was exiled from her community and is mistaken for a spy by Master Xang. I actually didn't get that from the story at all. Loki Renard is a decent storyteller, but in this case I think the story falls short of being complete. I found it hard to engage in this storyline, difficult to connect to the characters and was just plain underwhelmed by the whole thing.
