His technically meticulous yet practically worded text serves as an excellent supplement to my training. While I think it would be tough o learn exclusively from any book; I believe someone could grab a training partner and learn a great deal from Mr. Scott's books.

Blushing Cheeks: Volume One Review

(More customer reviews)I found Blushing Cheeks Volume One to be somewhat of a disappointment. I expected an interesting and stimulating read in the genre that was described in the blurb, but found a very bland and nearly PG-13 rated collection of three stories that were supposedly written by three different authors. The stories were so similar in the portrayal of the heroines that I had to check to see if they were actually credited to different authors. I found the heroines' submissiveness to be a bit unbelievable. The joint theme in all three stories is spanking and I found it hard to believe that these women would just allow the males in these stories to turn them over their knees and spank them as a matter of course. I allow that I am no expert in that particular area of experience, but I have read other stories involving spanking and mild BDSM that had much better premises. I guess the over all feeling I got from these stories was that the heroines had no backbone and expected to be spanked and believed they deserved it and that the males had a right to teach them lessons and decide if their behavior was appropriate or not. I think I will look for other authors in this genre that take a different approach to this concept.

Prima Review

(More customer reviews)A well-written and thought provoking story about a strong, but sometimes sadistic man and the slave he buys. Both of the lead characters, Joseph and Prima, are extremely likable. Their relationship develops well throughout this story.
More hard-core than other erotica books that I have read, so if this isn't your thing, read something else.
I found myself thinking about this book long after I read it. This is the first book that I have read by this author, but will not be the last.

(More customer reviews)Caressa's Knees is a poignant, beautifully written love story. Kyle is hired as the assistant to Caressa Gallo, a 20-year old cellist and musical genius. Kyle is a down-to-earth boy from Texas, organized, level-headed, and the exact opposite of Miss Gallo. Caressa is a former child prodigy who's life has always been the music. She suffers from incredible guilt over a past experience she had no control over. She has a crippling fear of failure. For Caressa this results in instability, loneliness and refusing to act like the adult she had become. Despite not wanting to admit it, Caressa needs Kyle to ground her in reality.
I enjoyed Caressa's character even with her flaws. Sure, at times she was an emotional wreck, but deep down she was strong to have survived such an exceptional childhood. I could feel her pain and anguish, her overwhelming passion for her music, and the relief she felt when she let Kyle into her guarded world. Now, Kyle wasn't perfect. He was burdened with problems from his past too. He did a few things that had me shaking my head. However, a few imperfections make a hero more compelling, which was certainly the case with Kyle.
The BDSM in this story is rather sensual, and it came very naturally between Kyle and Caressa. I thought that their D/s relationship was amazing. Passionate, personal, and very erotic. It was an intimate experience between them without the larger BDSM scene. Caressa needed Kyle's control, and he willingly gave it to her.
I love Annabel Joseph's writing style. She really knows how to pull a reader into a story with her descriptive language. The scenes of Caressa playing the cello, or her and Kyle's magical experience beside a Texas pond gave me chills. The epilogue had me choked up too, sad the book was ending, yet thrilled at the outcome of their story.

(More customer reviews)This was a good book, and if it were longer I would have rated it higher. Amazon described this book as 420 pages in print length, it is no where near that long. As a short novel it's worth $2, not $7. Like I said though, it was good. The characters were interesting the scenes hot, and I definitely wanted more.

UPDATE:After doing some research I found this story is part of an anthology. The 4 stories equal 420 pages, this story is only 100 pages. Not worth the money. I feel misled by amazon on this book.
