I am one of those Christians who is a prolific reader. Being a Christian for 30 years I have probably read approximately 1400 Christian books or more.
THIS is one of the most important topics of ALL TIME. And this book is one of the MOST AMAZING books that I have ever read. It is NOT a book on 'Prayer' only! It is much more than that! It is a book about How-To BE a Christian MAN - Husband and Father, and the fact of and How-To of exercising SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY as a leader in your family.
Men have always had a problem in understanding their roles as husband and father, especially in the last 50 years, when manhood has been UNDER such a great attack by the atheist, the feminist, etc. However, sadly but rightly so in many cases, 'Men have failed' in these roles.
I was told that this book is out of print and that it may not be printed again! I hate to believe this but I can understand it: 1. Satan must hate this topic of men learning to be REAL and Godly MEN, exercising the authority that GOD HAS given them - to deliver and heal their family's troubles; 2. Men are by our (old) nature lazy and do not like books about 'prayer' and about BEING a man who prays, fights and loves (in deeds) his family. And the Title is not inspiring, it sounds like it is ALL ABOUT prayer, IT IS NOT.
READ IT and start a change in your life that CAN CHANGE you, your family and even THIS NATION............
I was told that this book, "Fight On Your Knees" is out of print and will probably NOT be printed again!!
That is a tragic mistake. THIS is one of the most important topics of all time (see my review on the NavPress website and/or Amazon.com on this book). The real problem with this book is the title. It is a turn off to most men but also it is misleading and does NOT really depict the subject of the book!! Other topic/titles to better express it might be, 'How to be a Godly Man', 'Fight for Your Family and Country', 'How to Save Your Family', 'How to Save This Country', 'How to be a Man, After God's Own Heart', 'Doing Spiritual Warfare for Family and Country', etc., etc. You get the idea.
I contacted NavPress the publisher and they DO CONTINUE printing this book! But it is a 'Print On Demand' book and they will only print it when someone orders a case or 60 or more, i.e. IF CBD wanted some they would have to order at least 60 for NavPress to printed it.
