His approach to examination and his contribution to the clinical approach made it possible to many around the globe to learn, enjoy and expand their horizons in Orthopaedics. Very few could sum up complex clinical situations with so few a word. His book, and this edition is just a part of it, is an essential classical reading to all orthopaedic personnel.
