Wow, I actually found a guide which talks in detail about what my body is physically going through, I can't believe it! The author is very knowledgeable and has 8 detailed sections for during and after pregnancy and it all focuses on exactly what I want and that is strictly exercise and nutrition, yeah!!! The book also has a section called Monique's Corner which is pretty funny at times, sharing a realistic perspective about the particular topic in the book. The flow of the book was awesome and so easy to read because during pregnancy who wants to read a novel. It starts out with understanding your amazing body taking you through why we breath heavy, why we waddle, what happens to our abdominal's and more! It also goes into easy to follow weight management and nutrition from eating and exercising , Dietary Intake, Grocery shopping, meal planning, food guide basics, 7-day meal plan and more! It has fitness sections, which talk about exercise and the fetus, functional fitness, extensive components of pregnancy fitness,( which also has a really cool fill in section :), the Daily 4 Exercises, great programs for all 3 tri-mesters, fitness for the birthing support, in addition to exercise and labor! It ends with a great section to get your body back within 6-9 weeks post-partum, the author shares her story and provides great motivation and professional techniques she used for herself and her clients. The post partum section also includes weight management and 12 weeks of exercise programs. You have to get this book. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I have, and yes I am back to my pre-baby shape and it's only been 7 weeks, hooray!
