This is a lovely full color photographs on nearly every page book, with lots of pictures of lovely women who don't seem to sweat in very chic workout gear, and these immaculate Zen homes, etc.
It's definitely selling that image, and a bit too much for my tastes. It had a lot of short-attention-span featurettes like 'diet myths debunked' and 'feed your face'.
The workouts themselves, when you finally, finally get to them, are going to be familiar to regular readers of Fitness Magazine--that one feature where they have a one-page sort of spot toning workout? They mix and match those features--to the point where I recognize the outfits from the recycled photographs, so if you're a collector of the magazine, you will not find much new.
What is good, though, is the way they mix these up--they offer two short circuit-training type workouts for each body part, and then some quite nice total body workouts. Most require very little equipment--a light set of weights and a balance ball and you're set. And these are definitely nice workouts you'll feel the next morning! I would just have liked...a little more of this and a little less pictures of fitness model women's butts in teensy booty shorts. Yeah, I can't compete. Yeah, maybe I'm jealous. Whatever. I didn't pay good money to feel bad about my backside, Fitness.
