This is a fantastic weight and strength training book. I have never seen anything as functional as this. The books is well illustrated. It explains which exercises to use if you are trying to become (a)toned, (b) a body builder, (c) or an athlete. It contains suggested workouts to fit all target goals. Stretching, arms, legs, core and power/explosive exercises are all covered. My wife, son and I all use the book for different purposes. I use the book in advance of going to the gym by planning my work written work out. I photocopy the illustrations of the specific exercises I am going to perform and staple the illustrations to my plan so that I maintain perfect form while at the gym. The book has suggested exercises if you just want to exercise at home without weights as well. Trust me, this book is as good as it gets!!!!
