(More customer reviews)When I saw "Yoga for Women" for sale, I had to buy it immediately! This is the second book I've bought by Shakta Kaur Khalsa (the first was Kundalini Yoga -- also fantastic!).
I knew it would be high quality not only because it is published by DK (well-known for its beautiful photography, layout, and design) but because it is written by such a gifted writer!
Shakta has such a beautiful, lyrical, poetic way of expressing her deep well of knowledge about yoga.
This book is so rich in wonderful healing, energizing, and nurturing activities. It is incredibly beautiful and inspiring. I literally felt better just reading it, even before I did any of the very accessible and effective "kriyas" (exercises).
There's also a great section on yoga for relationships!
This book would make a perfect gift for anyone who is interested in learning about yoga in a clear, uplifting, meaningful way.
